    Regarding the guarantees

    • The warranty period starts from the date of purchase of the product and the invoice indicates the warranty period applicable to the product.
    • The guarantee holds Capris S.A. responsible. to repair or replace the parts as previously assessed by the Service Center at the facilities of Capris S.A. If a visit to the client's facilities is required, the client must bear the costs of the visit.
    • The replacement of the parts or spare parts by guarantee will be carried out as long as the defects are due to manufacturing problems or deficiency in any of the parts.
    • The equipment can be designed for heavy, light or domestic work, so it must be used under the working conditions specified by the manufacturer, this includes the work environment, optimal installation and correct maintenance.
    • The guarantee is subject to conditions of normal use of the equipment and does not apply in cases of operator negligence, or that the equipment has suffered abuse or misuse.
    • If the equipment is repaired, disassembled or modified by unauthorized persons, the guarantee loses its validity.
    • The price of the equipment does not include installation and/or transportation costs, unless it is stated literally on the invoice.
    • It is the responsibility of the user to give the correct maintenance to the equipment (lubrication, cleaning, oil changes, filter changes, etc.).
    • The guarantee does not apply to consumables (coals, oils, nozzles, electrode holders, gaskets, filters, fibers, roles, hoses, etc.) or due to normal wear and tear of the equipment.
    • Electronic equipment that requires specialized software (aligners, automotive scanners and others) require updates and/or expansions every six months, the costs and responsibility of which will be assumed by the client.

WARRANTY POLICIES HUNTER

  • WARRANTY FOR HUNTER INDUSTRIAL FANS SALES

     

    Regarding the guarantees

    • The warranty for Hunter equipment sales, offered by Capris in collaboration with GBT, provides peace of mind to customers by backing the quality and performance of the acquired products. From equipment with installation carried out by Capris to those sold without direct intervention from the company, this warranty system ensures satisfaction and optimal operation of Hunter equipment under various conditions and usage scenarios. The terms and conditions of this warranty are detailed below for a better understanding and transparency in the purchasing experience
    • EQUIPMENT SOLD WITH INSTALLATION DONE BY CAPRIS
    • All ECO and TITAN model equipment come with a 15-year warranty that includes motor, blades, support, VFD, and control.
    • The warranty for 2-star models such as XP or DDI is only 2 to 3 years respectively, covering motor, blades, support, VFD, and control.
    • Hunter's warranty only applies if the installation was carried out by an authorized distributor, in this case, Capris through GBT.
    • Warranties are managed as follows: Hunter sends the replacement part via FedEx and Capris only assumes the equipment's nationalization.
    • Capris can provide maintenance service through GBT.
    • Capris is responsible for equipment failures related to installation, as well as piping, wiring, and conduit. It is important to note that if the electrical installation was carried out by a third party, Capris cannot offer a full warranty.
    • Capris may apply a minimum charge of $250 to review and confirm that there is no direct failure with the electrical service entrance; however, a complete wiring review is not performed.
    • GBT Warranty: In complete installations where they deliver a turnkey project, they provide a 1-year warranty for installation defects, including:
      a. Wiring
      b. Piping and accessories
      c. Main switches
      d. Mounting structures
      e. Connections and splices
    • EQUIPMENT SOLD WITHOUT INSTALLATION DONE BY CAPRIS
    • In the event that equipment is sold and NOT installed by Capris, the warranty pertains to factory defects (such as bent blades or improper fitting in the motor).
    • GBT Warranty: In installations at 0 meters, where only the fan is installed, coverage includes:
      a. Mounting structures
      b. Connections and splices
